Grosse Vintage Bracelet 1970s A timelessly classic piece from Grosse, one of the world's most famous costume jewellers. Made in Germany this bracelet is cast from gold plated metal and inlaid with a rich burgundy leather. Grossé was founded by Mr Heinrich Henkel and Mr Florentin Grossé, in the famous goldsmith town, Pforzheim, in Germany. Grossé received the highest distinction for costume jewellery, the “Diplôme d’Honneur”, at the Paris World’s Fair for advanced, creative implementation of new technologies. In the mid 1930s they worked with Lanvin and Schiaparelli as well as Harrods and Saks. In 1955 Henkel Grosse started working with Christian Dior in Paris as the sole producers and distributors of Dior jewellery. Size Fit -Inner circumference - 8 inches -Width - 1 inch -Slides on and off Authenticity Condition Every piece is fully examined by experts and guaranteed authentic. This bracelet is in very good vintage condition and is stamped with the designer signature and date As with all vintage jewellery, this piece has a unique story to tell and may have some small surface marks from decades of use and storage.
