About the Item
This Biedermeier slide bracelet reflect the jewellery taste around 1835/40 ca. The bracelet is made up from a kerb chain held together by a junky slide that allows for an adjustable size. The bracelet is made out of metal and has been covered with a thin layer of gold. The slide is decorated with a turquoise glass cabochon and an imitation pearl.
The Gold layer on the chain has worn off in parts due to loving wear which in turn gives the bracelet a lovely smooth feel to it. Both ends of the chain are enhanced by articulated elements.
The dimensions of the slide are 2.7 x 2.4 x 1.3 cm.
