About the Item

A beautiful Art and Craft bracelet by Liberty Co. An antique piece made in the United Kingdom between the 1890 and 1910. The design have the strong influence of the Liberty-Art Craft movement. It is composed by 7 organics elements crafted in yellow gold with the typical hammered finish. All pieces are attached together with three lines of chains and suited with a push boxed lock and a security chain, with a crab lock. Bezel set with 4 European round cuts of natural green peridot (3.75 Ctw) and 3 natural white-gray pearls of 5 mm. This bracelet have a total weight of 16.8 Grams and a length of 7.6 inches. The width measure is 15 mm (0.59 Inch). Stamped, with the British assay gold hallmarks, "15 CTS". Note: Two of the best exponents from this art movement was the designer's Archibald Knox and Arthur Gaskin. Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box. Condition: The overall condition of this bracelet is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. All the gemstones, are secured in the settings. Bracelet designed by Gilbert Albert (1930-2019). Magnificent and very rare bracelet, created in Geneva Switzerland by the master jewelry designer Gilbert Albert, back in the 1970's. This sculptural bracelet is a one-of-a-kind unique piece, carefully crafted with organics motifs in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with beautiful textured patterns. Fitted with a security box lock and a hinged slash for extra safety. Diamonds: Mount in four-prongs settings, with 8 round brilliant cut diamonds, 1.03 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS-2 clarity. Pearls: Mount, with and arrangement of 5 round pearls of different tonalities, graduated between 5mm and 6mm. Others: Is accompanied by one supplementary sphere of 12mm, carved from natural pink quartz. These spheres can be interchanged with the main Tahitian black pearls. Weight: 57.95 Grams, (37.15 Dwt). Size: Fit a wrist up to 7.85 Inches (20 Cm). Measurements: The width run from 8 mm to 25 mm (0.31 to 0.98 Inches). A jeweled bracelet designed by Gubelin. Gorgeous piece of jewelry created by the Gubelin house, in Zurich Switzerland, circa 1960. This unique bracelet was crafted in solid 18 karats yellow gold and is suited, with an integrated boxed push lock, with a figure 8 for extra security. The craftmanship and the assembling are exceptional, realized by multiples links attached together by invisible pins. Embellished with very fine natural gemstones. all of them are carefully calibrated and are described as follow; prong set with 29 round brilliants cuts of natural Colombian green emeralds with a combined weight of 2.90 carats. They are completely transparent, with great vivid color saturation and not treated with oil. Burnish set, with 87 round brilliants cut diamonds, 1.74 carats, E/F color, VS-1 clarity. Have a weight of 33.6 grams and a length of 7 inches (20.7 cm). signed and stamped with the hallmarks, "Gubelin Swiss Made .750". The Gubelin house was founded in 1854 when Mauritz Breitschmid opened a watchmaker's shop on the Pfistergasse in Lucerne. a few years later, in 1861, Eduard Jakob Gübelin was born in eastern Switzerland. he subsequently moved to Lucerne and was apprenticed to the watchmaker Mauritz Breitschmid. The year 1886 marked a special occasion in the young watchmaker's life as Eduard Jakob Gübelin married bertha Sophia Breitschmid, the daughter of his old master. In the same year, the two men became business partners, managing the growing company together. In the 1920s Gübelin opened its own jewelry atelier and at the same time set up a small gemological laboratory so that it could test – and be sure of the authenticity – of the stones its jewelers used. It also continued making and repairing fine watches for a discerning clientele, developing a reputation that soon reached throughout Europe and overseas.
