An exceptional set of French antique gold charms in 18k and 21k yellow gold, relating to Napoleonic Hussars; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections.
This exceptional, fine, impressive and original set of French bracelet charms has been crafted in 18k and 21k yellow gold.
The eight antique gold bracelet charms relate directly to the Napoleonic Hussars, each charm being a realistic representation an item of clothing or weaponry.
The antique charms include: A shako (hat), a pelisse (jacket), a boot, a sabretache (pouch) engraved with the initial 'N', a muskatoon/carbine (rifle), a cuirassier (sword), a cannon and a violin.
(The violin may not be directly related to the Hussars, however, it was claimed that Napoleon played a violin whilst in exile on the island of Elba!)
Each charm has been finely modelled, with exceptional attention to detail, and hallmarked with the French restricted warranty hallmark for Paris (circa 1810).
Each charm may be suspended via an integrated suspension loop or loop and chain.
These impressive antique gold charms are fitted to the original hinged, leather, gilt tooled presentation case which secures with a hinged clasp.
Each charm has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as either 18k or 21k gold (see Dimensions below for details).
Condition:
These collectable French charms are very good gauge of gold and fine quality.
Each charm is in excellent condition, with sharp decoration and a clear hallmark.

These fine and impressive 1920s Art Deco cufflinks have been crafted in 18k yellow gold.
Each link as an octagonal form, embellished with a engraved tapering fluted design, flanked on either side by a ribbed zig-zag decoration.
The links articulate via a five link chain to the reverse of each link.
The plain and unembellished posterior faces of the octagonal are hallmarked with the maker's mark 'H.G&S', the gold guarantee mark (crown), the mark for 18k gold (18), the Chester cityarms and the date letter for 1929 (D).
