A striking fusion of myth and luxury, this antique dragon charm (circa 1890) embodies the Victorian fascination with symbolism and legend. Meticulously crafted in 14k gold with a platinum collet, the dragon has ruby eyes and clutches a 0.41ct old European cut diamond of H-I color, VS clarity in its jaws. Dragons are a powerful emblem of strength, protection, and enduring power.
Originally created as a Victorian stickpin, the piece has been expertly transformed by our jeweler into a charm by removing the original pin stem and adding a refined 14k gold jump ring bail, making it perfect for wear on a chain or charm bracelet.
The charm measures 0.7 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom by 0.5 inches wide, and it weighs 2.54 grams. It is in great condition.
The gold content has been verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, ensuring both authenticity and quality.
