About the Item
Antique French Victorian Era Silver and Rose Gold Bracelet with Secret Locket Charm
The charm is silver and has a boars head hallmark. On the engraved front is a cross and pierced hearts of Mary and Jesus. On the reverse is a blank for a monogram. The inside image is a raised image of a person with dogs.
The French bracelet dates to the era of Napoleon 111, the second half of the 19th century. It is 800-900 silver with rose gold overlays. The silver locket charm opens to reveal a secret image inside.
Each link is embellished with gold knobs along the edges with A row of gold stars is in the center of each link.
The bracelet can be worn on the reverse where the links are plain. There is a lozenge shaped makers mark and a hallmark which I cannot read.
