About the Item
A luminous antique moonstone from 1900–1910, featuring a beautifully carved cameo of a woman’s profile rendered in the soft, ethereal glow characteristic of fine moonstone. The carving is framed in platinum and accented with black enamel, creating a striking contrast that enhances the cameo’s delicate detail.
The charm was originally an antique stickpin that our jeweler expertly transformed by removing the pin and adding a yellow gold bail. The piece measures approximately 0.8 inches from the top of the jump ring to the bottom by 0.5 inches wide and weighs 1.29 grams.
All metals have been professionally verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and confirmed with jeweler’s acid testing, authenticating its platinum composition. In excellent antique condition, this piece is a graceful and timeless example of Edwardian-era craftsmanship and cameo artistry, perfect for the discerning charm collector.
