About the Item
A perfect example of high style and quality is this wonderful Jacky de G charm bracelet. it is richly gold plated in 18K gold. The bracelet chain is metal while the leaf charms are gold plated molded resin. Additionally, there are faceted large black lucite and small green lucite bead charms and green rhinestone set gold plated metal button charms. The charms vary in size from .5 of an inch of the light green beads to 1.25 of an inch long of the gold leaves. Laid flat the bracelet is 9 inches long. The bracelet has a large jump ring clasp. The end ring on the bracelet is stamped Jacky de G. Excellent condition.
Jacky de G worked for many fashion houses in the 1980s including Jean-Paul Gaultier, Laroche, Givenchy, Dior, Lagerfeld and Lacroix. French jewelry of the 1980s was influenced by the high fashion of famous couturiers and always an integral part of every fashion show. Jewelry marked Jacky de G was produced for a rather short period – mainly in the 1980s. Thus, all products of this brand with its forty-year history, are vintage and highly collectible.
