This is a very rare retired statement bracelet made by Dutch artist Johan Van Loon for the German porcelain company of Rosenthal, back in the 1970's This beautiful abstract piece is made of white porcelain and accented in three matte colors of polychrome metallic such; gold, blue, purple and orange. A design all around the bracelet. This is a lovely Rosenthal collector's piece no longer available at the Rosenthal retailers. It is a unique conversation piece to compliment any ensemble. In 1958 he took pottery classes from the Amsterdam potter Jos Eppens van Veen, ] in 1960 from Thera Hofstede Crull, and in 1961 at the Camberwell College of Arts in London under Lucie Rie. In 1960 he took another study tour to Scandinavia and worked with Kylikki Salmenhaara for the Arabia porcelain factory in Finland.
