About the Item
A remarkable example of 1970s studio jewelry, this large, hinged sterling cuff has immense heft and presence. The cuff itself is crafted of small pieces of silver blobs applied in layers, while the large center frame, set at a right angle to the cuff, utilizes a similar technique but is heavily textured. The square frame centers a pyramidal-shaped polished stone of blues and greens. Of interesting construction, the secure clasp is composed of an elongated tongue with a prong that fits a hole on the opposite side over which is a hinged loop. Unsigned.
