On offer is this gorgeous 9CT GOLD CORED FLORAL ENGRAVED HINGED BANGLE BRACELET DETAILS Material: Thick 9ct Gold with a Metal Core (see details below) Style: Hinged Cuff with Hand Engraved Floral design to one side. Age: Antique early 1900s (c1920s) Condition: Good - has a dint to the plain side so have slashed the price. Hallmark: UK 9ct Metal Core This is NOT solid gold (hence price). 9ct Gold Metal Core is a vintage technique best described as like modern hollow gold bangles but with a base metal (usually bronze) as inner reinforcement. Assay standards state that to call an item as such a MINIMUM of 20% must be made of 9ct Gold. The end result is a gold bracelet that will last a lifetime if looked after but won't dent like the modern hollow ones will. It is a truly noticeable and eye-catching piece of jewellery. It is in good condition with minor noticeable signs of wear, price reduced accordingly. It could easily be polished to "as new" if required, though I am not a fan of vintage things looking new. SIZING INFORMATION Length 8 Inches approx (inner circumference) Width 13.2mm Total mass 23.9 grams. Closes with a deployment snap clasp. and has safety chan. The bracelet originates from the UK.
