About the Item
This hand wrought gorgeous and early vintage Mexican hallmarked cuff bracelet of sterling silver and amethyst are comprised of 10 rows of 8 dome like sterling silver balls with 3 set amethyst stones on top. it gives it almost an abacus like look. There are 30 round amethyst stones set in sterling and 80 sterling silver half dome balls. This cuff bracelet is not a hard structure. It has flexible movement. When opened up, the size is 8.5"L/W. when closed up with the clasp it is 3.5" W/L. The inside diameter when closed is approx. 2.5" Diameter. The height of the bracelet is 2" H or 2" Deep. it is marked Mexico silver on the clasp with an inverted W. We do not know who that silversmith is. This is an early work from the 40's or 50's. Mid century modern. it has age but retains it's modernity forever. Purple is the color of royal and regality. It fits beautifully on the wrist. If your wrist is a size 6 or smaller it will have some dangle room at the bottom and not be a snug fit. If your wrist is a size 6.5 or 7 it will fit more snugly. This will fit perfectly a wrist that is 6.5" or greater like 7 or 7.5".
