Sterling Silver Hinged Bangle Bracelet Signed by John Millward Banks, Birmingham. Initialed "J.M.B" With Date Letter for 1885-6. The firm was established in 1863 in Birmingham with manufacturing premises at 6 Northampton Street, Birmingham and Showroom at 12, 14 Beake Street, Regent Street, London. In 1900 c. the firm name was changed to J.M. Banks
Co. The hinged front with button release has an inset panel engraved with leaves and surrounded by a deeply carved wave border. With a 8.5" circumference. The interior dimensions are 2.5" X 2.25" and the interior circumference is 7".
