A Victorian garnet and half pearl bracelet, the central slide set with cabochon-cut garnet measuring approximately 17.2mm in diameter, surrounded by nineteen half pearls, on a gold mesh bracelet terminating with a line of half pearls and triangular shape cabochon-cut garnet, circa 1860, maximum diameter measuring approximately 8cm, gross weight 51.4 grams.
Unmarked Metal tested as 18ct gold. A victorian bracelet in very good condition.
This stunning bracelet comes from the collection of Bentley
Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. Created in around 1860, at the height of Queen Victoria’s reign, this substantial bracelet is emblematic of Victorian style. The rich and vibrant colours of the red garnet and gold woven mesh pair beautifully with the lustre of the pearls and make this bracelet a true statement piece.
