About the Item
Here is a 15k Yellow Gold Micro-Mosaic Bracelet in the Etruscan Revival style likely from the 19th Century. It depicts a famous ceiling fresco called "Aurora and the Chariot of the Sun Driven by Apollo" painted by Guido Reni in ~1614AD. Which is believed to be his ultimate fresco masterpiece.
Micro-mosaic is a technique where very small thin pieces of colored glass are arranged to create a mosaic image like found in ancient Greece, etc. This time-consuming process requires each piece to be placed by hand by the craftsman.
The bracelet is in very good condition with minimal wear and the micro-mosaic is very close to fully intact with very minimal losses as is all too common to see in micro-mosaics.
