This architectural and feminine 18-karat yellow and white gold link bracelet is by Annaratone
Magyary, Valenza jewelers between the 1940s and the early 1970s. It is an example of superb Italian craftsmanship from the late 1960s when modernist jewelry was just emerging and a more traditional design period was passing. This substantial bracelet is a product then of a time of transition, elegant and sophisticated, weighing 83.11 grams and measuring 7 inches long.
The bracelet features an alternating pattern of concave polished and textured links, creating a dynamic contrast in finish and form. The smooth reverse side of each link ensures a comfortable fit. At the same time, the articulated design allows the bracelet to drape naturally around the wrist—causing the ends to curve slightly upward when worn, adding to its sculptural and sensual appeal.
