Featured for sale at Saks Fifth Ave NYC, price $25, in American Vogue, 1 Dec 1939, p 58; Patent designer A Philippe, filed July, granted Aug 1939. The trembler series, much of which was patented, was called 'Regence' by Trifari, as reported in Women's Wear Daily, 28 July 1939, p 11, copies of French paste court jewelry... very formal evening jewelry in flower designs, with moveable or stationery "shimmering" blossoms which catch and reflect the light
