About the Item
Among items that are purely American in style are 14K yellow gold brick bracelets of this variety. They were designed as "buckle bracelets" and were sold during the 1940's. In this near pristine example, the buckle is set with rubies and diamonds. Twenty nine round faceted, natural rubies have a total approximate weight of 1.00ct and three brilliant cut diamonds have a total approximate weight of .11ct, with an overall quality of G/H color and VS2 clarity. This striking example measures 7 7/8 inches in total length and over 15/16 inches at it's widest point. This lovely jewel is designed to be worn at a total of eight different lengths, fitting eight different sizes, which all but assures that it will fit almost any lucky lady. 14K and C+B, for the maker, are stamped on the reverse side of the clasp. Gross weight 40.80 grams.
