Sciacca Coral Bracelet Italy Trapani 19th Century

The 19th century bracelet is made of fine Sciacca coral of the highest quality, coming from Sicily, and in yellow gold: it has a very fine classical decoration whose protagonist is the central putto, which surrounds acanthus leaves and stands out above an equally naturalistic decoration in which pomegranate fruits and roses can be recognised; to complete the meticulous decoration there are two other putti, slightly smaller in size, placed in the lateral parts of the bracelet, one of which plays the fife and one who plays the trumpet, helping to convey the sensation of a bucolic celebration. In addition to the very high quality of the coral and the excellent state of conservation, the meticulousness of the details and the engraving accuracy that allowed the meticulous rendering of the details are striking.
