An Art Deco sapphire, diamond, platinum, and white gold bracelet, comprising one old European cut diamond, two baguette cut diamonds, two-hundred-and-thirty-nine old round cut diamonds, and forty-six calibre step cut sapphires, set in platinum and 14 karat white gold.
This exquisite Art Deco bracelet is designed around an oval panel, with an old European cut diamond at its centre. The old European cut diamond is held within a millegrain edged bezel setting, and is bright, white, and sparkly, with good clarity and colour. The diamond is nestled at the centre of alternating lines of round diamonds and step cut sapphires. The oval plaque is bordered with bezel set diamonds, creating a dainty scalloped edge. The oval panel gives way to open diamond set shoulders, each terminating with a baguette cut diamond. The articulated bracelet is formed of square links, each set with 4 diamonds, creating a sparkling flexible bracelet. The bracelet is complete with a secure diamond set clasp, and safety chain (safety chain detached briefly for photographs). The diamonds are supremely bright, white, and sparkly, creating a truly dazzling piece of jewellery. The calibre set cut sapphires are a strong blue, adding a bold pop of colour, synonymous with the Art Deco era. The bracelet is in great condition, with evidence of a small repair to a diamond setting, at the back of the panel. Wear and tear acquiescent with age.
