About the Item
Art Deco Diamond Buckle Link Bracelet in Silver and Gold, Portugal, 1940s. Of geometric openwork design, this antique bracelet is composed of a sequence of five buckle shape links alternating with five stylized cross shape links, set throughout with 260 rose-cut and 5 Old European brilliant-cut diamonds, further embellished with millegrain and pierced openwork detailing. This bracelet is secured with a hidden click-shut clasp and a security chain fitting for extra peace of mind.
Main Diamonds: Old European brilliant-cut; 0.50ct total. Remaining diamonds: 1.30 carats in total. Each link and tongue fitting with maker's mark for Lisbon goldsmith Ricardo Domingos (used 1921-1973); Lisbon mark "rooster head" for jewelry (used 1938-1984). Dimensions: 17.6 x 1.8 cm. Gross weight: 36g.
