About the Item
This is a very rare Art Nouveau - Art Deco violet pansy flower parure with a matching bracelet and brooch with exquisite flowers decorated with varied hues of purple enamel, with green leaves and marcasite set centers in Sterling Silver. The magnificent pieces date to the 1920s.
The bracelet has five link sections each set with an enamel pansy or violet flower with a marcasite center. The links between the sections are wonderful bow motifs further set with marcasites. The bracelet has a safety clasp.
The brooch has four pansy violet flowers with smaller marcasite flowers set throughout, along with two green leaves.
The enamel work in this parure is of the highest quality and the design is Art Nouveau nature inspired imagery at its best. The brooch and bracelet are hallmarked Sterling.
The bracelet is 7.5 inches (19cm) long and 3/4 inch (20mm) wide.
The brooch is 2 1/4 inches (56mm) wide by 2 inches (52mm) tall.
The brooch has a small bit of enamel loss on one petal.
