About the Item
A very unusual and rare boating theme English bracelet in gold plate on brass with black enamel and dating from the late 1930s to early 1940s. The bracelet is large measuring a full 1.75 inches wide and 8 inches long including the tongue of the push pin clasp. Closed, the bracelet has a circumference of 7.75 inches. There are five life preserver rings with each surrounded by a trusted rope design. The rings are highlighted with black enamel and suspended between chain .32 of an inch wide. The five rings have a very faint pinkish tone to the patina while the outer chain of the bracelet has a golden cast. Lovely antique patina on the bracelet.
