About the Item

A pair of Victorian half pearl gold bracelets, each bracelet consisting of twenty six gold discs each set with half pearl to the centre and suspended between two cannatile chains, all fire gilded to a concealed snap clasp, circa 1890, measuring approximately 18.5 x 1.6cm, weighing 69.65grams. Unmarked metal tested as 18ct gold. A pair of Victorian bracelets in in excellent condition. A gorgeous pair of Victorian half pearl yellow gold bracelets from the collection of Bentley Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. These bracelets feature intricately detailed cannatile chains, between which are gold discs, each set with a luminous half pearl. The combination of lustrous pearls and bright yellow gold is romantic was particularly popular during the late nineteenth century when these bracelets were made. These bracelets can be worn stacked on one wrist or worn in the Victorian fashion with one on each wrist.
