Indulge in a Museum Quality Antique Cameo Bracelet in 14 Karat Gold dating to the Victorian period with six magnificent hand carved maiden woman goddess cameos of the finest quality.
Each of the six shell cameos depicts a different goddess. The goddess images are masterpieces of neoclassical cameo carving. The cameos are gently graduated in size with the largest cameo being 30mm tall. The faces of the goddesses are serene and beautiful. The carving is very deep with extraordinary details in the faces and the hair styles of the women.
The cameos are set in 14 Karat Gold with extraordinarily fine open filigree work. The artistry and craftsmanship of this cameo masterpiece are of the highest quality. It is very rare to find large cameo bracelets from this early period and of this superb quality. We believe you will not find a finer early Victorian cameo bracelet. The bracelet comes from one of the finest collections of cameo jewels. We have included a photo of some of the other cameo and pietra dura pieces from this collection.
We have left the price tag on from the 1970s in London where the bracelet was purchased. The cost was 3750 GB pounds, or $9375 US dollars, in the 1970s.
The bracelet is 7 inches (18cm) long.
The widest portion is 1 1/2 inches (37mm) wide.
The bracelet is 14 Karat Gold.
The clasp is hallmarked with the number 4, the initials AC which I believe is the maker, as well as two additional hallmarks.
