About the Item
An absolutely stunning ruby and diamond encrusted bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 18k gold and sterling silver, this bracelet is composed of 7 ellipse-shaped links. Each link is encrusted with round cut rubies and rose cut diamonds. The rubies display a lovely reddish-pink hue. All of the stones are held in place by bead settings. Each link is separated from the next by a larger, round cut ruby, which is held within a smooth and simple bezel setting. The top and bottom edges of each link feature intricate scrolling motif etchings, which add to the unique appeal of the piece. The bracelet secures with a hidden push clasp, which is hidden within the last link. The bracelet features an additional safety chain and figure eight safety. A colorful and intricate piece, this bracelet would make lovely addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/2" long. Each link measures 7/8" long and 3/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or sterling silver setting. All of the rubies and diamonds are secure, and the push clasp, safety chain, and figure eight safety are secure and in working order.
