About the Item
A vintage filigree link bracelet crafted with four wide jade panels set in gilded filigree silver. The bracelet has a design of four hinged segments or sections of gilded (gold-plated) silver wire mesh, which has been finely and evenly woven with butterflies and flowers. The four segments are set in raised settings with a wide oval carved jade stone. Each stone has been delicately carved into floral motifs. The jade has an ancient coin scene, which symbolizes prosperity.
The remainder of each segment has been decorated with applied silver filigree wire and granulation work in scrolling floral, foliage and butterfly patterns. The bracelet opens with a press-stud mechanism. It retains a safety chain. The bracelet is in beautiful condition. Marked.
