Hopi Artist, Michael Sockyma, Silver Overlay Bracelet
Well-known Hopi artist Michael Sockyma Sr. is from the Hopi village of Hotevilla and is a member of the Corn clan, which explains his hallmark image of an ear of corn. He has won multiple awards for his outstanding overlay jewelry. Born in 1942, he started making jewelry in 1965.
It measures 3/8 inch wide, has an internal circumference of 6-3/4 inches plus a gap width of 1-1/8 inch, and it weighs 23.4 grams.
