About the Item

A very quirky signed vintage Renoir bracelet. The signature dating it to pre 1954. This piece is named 'Curtain call' by Matisse. These theatre mask pieces are stand out in the range that was produced by Renoir and often highlighted in specialist costume jewellery books on this maker. The mask bracelet is a great piece and involves excellent modelling in the faces of the comedy and tragedy masks. This Vintage Renoir Bracelet incorporates 5 panels with a mask on each and is in very good vintage condition. The bracelet measures approx. 16.5cm by 3cm wide. A fantastically different piece of period costume jewellery.
