Spanish explorers in the 16th century discovered these gems in present-day Colombia, previously used by the Incans for religious rituals for centuries. This Vintage Emerald Diamond Bracelet, crafted circa 1950, boasts 6 square and rectangular emerald-cut green emeralds, totaling approximately 7.50 carats. Accompanied by an AGL certification, these Colombian emeralds exhibit minor to insignificant clarity enhancement.
Emeralds commonly undergo clarity enhancement, yet inclusions are expected and embraced, known as "jardin" in the trade. These natural inclusions, formed during crystallization, create unique patterns, enhancing the gem's value. The bracelet, crafted in platinum, showcases a sophisticated design with emeralds graduating in size and flanked by baguette and emerald-cut diamonds.
