Presented here is the truly stunning and extremely desirable Camellia cuff racelet by American fashion jewelry company Coro. It has become known as the Carmen Miranda bracelet as she wears two of them in the 1948 film "A Date with Judy" while singing Cuanto le Gusta. The bracelet design was patented in 1939 and the piece introduced for sale the same year. The design consists of two C shape wide pieces that are cut out with a branch running across the opening with one open Camelia, leaves, two semi closed camellias and one tiny bud on each side. The bracelet is gold plated with a large round green or an oval red glass cabochon in the center of each Camellia flower. The petals of the flowers are rhodium plated to set off the clear pave' rhinestones. The leaves are enameled in dark green. Additionally, there are two small closed buds with blue glass pear shape cabochons. The bracelet has an inner circumference of 7 inches.
