This exceptional vintage bracelet, crafted in solid 14K yellow gold, is set with 42 natural Burmese rubies, all GIA certified with no indications of heat treatment. The bracelet dates to the circa 1950s and is a rare and finely preserved example of mid-century ruby jewelry.
A representative ruby selected and examined by GIA measures approximately 3.5 × 3.0 × 2.52 mm. Based on standard gemological weight estimations and the inherent cutting characteristics of natural rubies, the stones are conservatively estimated at a minimum of approximately 0.25 carats each, resulting in a total ruby weight of approximately 10.50 carats.
The rubies display rich, well-matched red color and strong saturation throughout. As expected for a vintage piece of this age, a small number of stones show minor surface abrasions consistent with normal wear, with no impact on overall beauty or integrity. The stones remain remarkably well matched in color and appearance.
With a substantial total weight of approximately 17.6 grams and a length of approximately 7.25 inches, the bracelet has a luxurious presence on the wrist and reflects high-quality craftsmanship throughout.
