A stunning, fine and impressive vintage French 2.89 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold and platinum set floral brooch; part of our diverse vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive French vintage brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with a platinum setting. The brooch has been modelled in the form of a stemmed flower. The centre of the flower is represented by a circular domed design, embellished with forty-seven stunning individually claw set Old European round cut diamonds, totalling 2.89Cts. The domed centre is encircled by interlacing yellow gold petals and strands; the petals have been crafted in a combination of bifurcating lobed motifs and rope twist decorated designs, creating a multi-layered arrangement. The hallmarked stem is plain and unembellished, terminating in a tapered point. The floral diamond brooch in gold secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and push fit clasp. The impressive vintage diamond brooch has been hallmarked to the reverse of the stem with the French 18k gold fineness guarantee mark (eagle's head), the French mark for platinum (dog's head) and the maker's mark (G B).
