1930s Diamond Yellow Gold Platinum Set Bow Brooch

An impressive 0.68 carat diamond and 14 carat yellow gold, 14 karat white gold set bar brooch in the form of a bow; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections. This fine and impressive antique bow brooch has been crafted in 14k yellow gold with a 14k white gold setting. This bar style brooch has been modelled in the form of a tied bow, with linear ribbon settings emanating from the central arrangement. The tied bow setting to the centre of the bar is ornamented with a feature collet set 0.25Ct Old European round cut diamond, flanked on either side by a total of ten pavé set Dutch cut diamonds. The two linear ribbons are embellished with a further eighteen pavé set Dutch cut diamonds, and bordered with a subtle millegrain decoration. A stunning antique Art Nouveau 0.84 carat diamond and 14 karat yellow gold, platinum set brooch; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 14k yellow gold with a platinum setting. The Art Nouveau design is ornamented with three feature bezel set Old European round cut diamonds; a 0.31Ct, a 0.21Ct and a 0.20Ct. The millegrain decorated, sinuous design is embellished with a further two Old European round cut and twelve Dutch cut diamonds. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening, which is struck with the maker's mark and 14k gold fineness mark -585. The side of the setting is also hallmarked with the 14k gold fineness mark. The setting has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. The 1920s diamond brooch is supplied with three independent diamond grading certificates. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds.
