Charming and rare, this late Victorian stickpin (circa 1890–1900) features a whimsical chick formed from a lustrous baroque pearl, its tiny eye glittering with a single diamond. Perched atop a smooth Tahitian South Sea silver pearl, the composition blends natural texture with refined elegance — hallmarks of 19th-century craftsmanship.
The pin head measures 0.7 inches by 0.5 inches, with the entire piece measuring 2.55 inches in length and weighing 2.31 grams. It remains in great antique condition, displaying only light wear consistent with age.
