An impressive antique 0.15 carat diamond and 0.02 carat ruby, 12 karat yellow gold and platinum 'insect' bar brooch; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 12k yellow gold with platinum accents. The feature setting to the center of the bar has been modelled in the form of an insect. The insect’s four wings are embellished with six pavé set old mine cut diamonds in various sizes, totalling 0.15Cts. The thorax and abdomen are represented by two natural pearls. The head is ornamented with two bezel set cabochon cut rubies. Each of the bar terminals is accented with a platinum setting, securing to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp. This antique insect brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 12k gold and platinum. The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. A fine and impressive 1.28 carat diamond, pearl and garnet, 15 karat yellow gold brooch in the form of a hornet; part of our antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. A stunning, fine and impressive 0.26 carat ruby and 1.02 carat diamond, pearl and silver set insect bar brooch - boxed; part of our diverse antique jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique ruby brooch has been silver set. The plain pointed bar brooch is ornamented to the centre with a pierced decorated, fly shaped setting. The thorax of the fly is embellished with an impressive collet set 0.26ct cushion cut ruby, surmounting and impressive feature collet set 0.63ct Old European cut diamond representing the abdomen. The eyes are depicted with two collet set Dutch cut diamonds and the wings bear twelve pavé set diamonds, totalling 0.39ct. The bar is ornamented with a single 5.2mm pearl to one terminal. This insect brooch secures with a hinged pin and clasp to the reverse.
