This charming and unusual brooch was hand crafted in the 1st half of the 19th century. was intended as a sentimental gift. It has been designed as a flower with five petals and was intendedas a sentimental gift. The flower is made up from five German silver coins. Each coin has been polished and engraved with ligated initials, maybe it was given to a mother by her five children. The initials read JK, EJ, CG, JSK, MB.
