A refined example of turn-of-the-century artistry, this antique lace pin (circa 1900) draws inspiration from the winged solar disk of ancient Egypt — a powerful emblem of divine protection, authority, and rebirth.
Crafted in 14k gold, the design features twin dragon-like figures with outstretched wings flanking a luminous central pearl. Delicate green and red enamel accents add vibrancy and depth.
The reverse bears the maker’s mark for Blank
Co., one of New York’s most respected jewelers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, renowned for their exquisite enamel work and quality craftsmanship.
Measuring 0.4 inches high by 0.85 inches wide and weighing 1.12 grams, the pin remains in very good condition. The gold content has been verified by both XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, ensuring its authenticity and purity.
