A romantic celebration of nature’s beauty, this antique 14k gold jewel (circa 1900) features a vase overflowing with enameled flowers, delicately accented with natural pearls, a deep blue sapphire, and a bright turquoise cabochon. Bursting with color and texture, the piece reflects the fine craftsmanship and botanical fascination characteristic of turn-of-the-century design.
Though originally crafted as a brooch, it also includes hidden versatility—a chain can be looped under the integrated wires on the reverse, allowing it to be worn as a pendant for those who prefer a necklace option.
The piece measures approximately 1.75 inches tall by 1 inch wide and weighs 4.47 grams. The gold has been confirmed via XRF and jeweler’s acid testing to be solid 14k.
This piece is in good antique condition. There is minor enamel wear on the purple flowers, glue residue beneath two pearls (common in antique settings), and soft solder visible beneath the pin findings on the back. These aspects do not detract from its overall beauty or wearability.
