About the Item
Here we have an antique pendant or brooch that was crafted from solid 14k yellow gold during the Victorian era. The brooch was made in the Etruscan Revival style and features a magnificent, TOP QUALITY, carved piece of natural lapis lazuli that is bezel set at its center. The oval shaped lapis is a deep, rich, and even violetish-blue color and is hand-carved with a gorgeous floral motif. The lapis is encircled by a frame of solid 14k yellow gold petals that are each hand engraved with unique and intricate designs. On the back of this piece there is both a pin with rotating lock for wear as a brooch and a folding bail for wear as a pendant. This magnificent antique piece remains in excellent condition and comes with the original GIA certification for the lapis. Enjoy!
