About the Item
Antique Wedgwood sterling silver and cobalt blue jasperware brooch, featuring a classical relief scene with cupid to the left. Measuring length 2.8 cm / 1.1 inches by width 2 cm / .78 inch. It is stamped Sterling Silver, and Wedgwood on the reverse, with possibly an X mark. The silver has some dents around the edge. We have given the brooch a light clean.
This beautiful and classic Wedgwood brooch dates to around the mid nineteenth century. A rare find.
