In 1896 they administered Murrle Bennet Co until 1914 when the firm was purchased and continued trade in London under the name White Redgrove Whyte. Murrle Bennett is widely known for their production of Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts style jewelry; they bear connections with renowned craftsmen such as Liberty Co, Archibald Knox and Theodore Fahrner. Condition This antique 1900's brooch is exceptional quality, set with an impressive hot enamel panel. The enamel panel is in perfect condition; this piece shows little signs of wear and use, determining the piece has remained securely stored within the presentation box. The original box has some wear to the exterior in keeping with age. The brooch is an excellent gauge of gold and is in exceptional condition, with clear hallmarks to the reverse of the setting. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine Murrle Bennet Co enamel brooch in 15k gold.
