About the Item
This gorgeous rare brooch from the 19th century Renaissance revivalist period is crafted in 15k yellow gold with blackened details featuring a nature scene of an owl perched on a branch surrounded by a pair of birds. Signed Castellani, with conjoined CC mark. Very good condition with only light patina. Made in Italy circa 1870s. Measurements: 1.45" (37mm) width.
