About the Item
An Edwardian enamel, diamond and gold jockey-cap pin, the realistically carved jockey-cap set with a small old-cut diamond at the top, six sections embellished with rose-cut diamonds and three sections and the brim decorated with white opaque enamel, mounted in yellow gold with gold pin fitting, circa 1905, measuring 1.4 x 1.2cm, the pin measuring 6.5cm long, gross weight 3.3 grams.
This antique brooch is in very good condition for its age. Unmarked, tested as 18ct gold.
This Edwardian enamel, diamond and gold jockey-cap stick pin comes from the collection of Bentley
Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. This realistically carved jockey cap features a stunning old-cut diamond adorning its peak, complemented by six sections adorned with shimmering rose-cut diamonds. The remaining three sections and the brim are elegantly accented with white opaque enamel, adding a touch of refinement to this exquisite piece.
