This enchanting Arts
Crafts era brooch has been artfully designed and meticulously hand-crafted in 14 karat gold by F.W. Lawrence, circa 1900. An electric cabochon opal moon and two glittering old mine-cut diamond stars peek through luminous pearl grape clusters wrapped in beautifully burnished, realistically rendered grape leaves. A rare and wonderful work of jewelry art.
F.W. Lawrence (1864 - 1929) was an important American jewelry designer who created hand-crafted jewelry, silver and bronzes with a similar aesthetic to that of Louis Comfort Tiffany. Nature was a source of inspiration to him, which can be seen in this captivating brooch.

The pierced decorated, heart shaped frame is ornamented with a feature central bezel set 3.98 Ct heart cabochon cut labradorite.
The labradorite is surrounded by seven 4mm seed pearls, displayed alternately between seven individually 9k white gold five claw set Old European round cut diamonds.
The pearls and diamonds are held upon a completely separate halo.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp, a discreet hinged ring loop attachment to the upper border of the reverse setting allows this Victorian brooch to be worn as a pendant if so desired.
This stunning antique 1890s brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9k gold.
