This rare Georgian diamond set miniature brooch. Hand painted, this painting is a scene from the poem “Paradise Lost” by John Milton. It depicts the Archangel Raphael issuing a warning to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. This brooch has been repaired over time, as some lead solder is evident.
