Circa 1960s, 18k, by Gubelin, Lucerne, Switzerland. Insouciantly stylish, this playful turtle brooch by the renowned Swiss firm of Gubelin is a wonderfully quirky animal brooch. The superb fabrication is underscored by the vivid color of the Lapis and the rich red ruby eyes. Excellent condition.
Remark: “Cheerful and chic – two of my favorite things.”
