About the Item

Stunning French jewelry designer Henry Perichon (also known as Henry) gilt bronze brooch. The dangling shape, with Medieval design influences, is adorned with poured glass cabochons in emerald green and opal white, as well as assorted colors. The necklace is signed "Henry" on the underside. The security closing clasp and hook allow you to turn this lovely piece into a pendant necklace. Measurements: 1.38 in wide (3.4 cm) by 3 in long (7.7 cm). Reference: Henry Perichon (1910 - 1970), known as "Henry," was one of the most inventive jewelry designers of the period. His studio in Lyon, where he worked with mediums such as bronze, silver, white metal, or resin (Talosel). His style is hard to define, reflecting a multitude of influences, including Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and Art Deco. Many famous actresses from the 1950s to the 1960s, such as Claudette Colbert, Suzanne Flon, Michele Morgan, and Edwige Feuillère, wore his jewelry on stage and in real life.
