About the Item
Designed by the famed French designer Jean Vitau for Gemveto. Jean Vitau was a pioneer jewelry designer . He was known for patenting the Gemlok setting ,a secure and snag proof way of setting diamonds and colored stones.
This lovely brooch is the perfect example using the expert setting techniques. Diamonds, rubies, and tsavorites are the stones that make up the body, along with a black onyx tail. The brooch measures 1.5" x 1.1/8".
