This beautifully romantic collection of antique hand carved cameo brooches each depicts unique a portrait of a Victorian era lady of station. Certainly all the rage the 1800, cameos were a popular accessory of status. Today a resurgence of this miniature wearable art has reappear on the red carpet by celebrities. Craftsman carved from shell, one must admire the fine hand tooled image which, in detail, illustrates flowing hair, sharp facial features and formal clothing. In this trio, each portrait cameo is frame in 12+ karat gold filigree. In addition to the fastening, each brooch is convertible to function as a pendant for a necklace. Within the trio, each figure wears her own authentic diamond pendant necklace as well. All three are oval in shape and have an approximate measurement of 1-1/2 x 2 inches. Gift wrapped.
